Any teacher can delete a child and everything we hold about them, immediately, when a parent asks. Retention is 12, 24 or 36 months or each academic year — applied on request, not yet automatically.

Report Alchemy is a small company. We hold no ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials certification and have not commissioned an external penetration test, and we would rather you knew that now than at the end of a term's trial. What we do have is a deliberately tiny data model, encryption in transit and at rest, no passwords stored (only salted hashes), sign-in by Google or confirmed email, a database that refuses unencrypted connections, and one-click erasure and export for every teacher. Automatic deletion on the retention period is not yet switched on, and the data protection page says so rather than implying otherwise.
